‘Dish Nation’ Sold In Over 70% Of U.S.

Twentieth Television’s new syndicated entertainment half-hour, ups its clearances in advance of its fall premiere.

Dish Nation, the half-hour entertainment news program featuring drive-time personalities from across the nation has now been sold in over 70% of the United States.

Set for a September launch, Dish Nation is now cleared on Meredith, Sinclair, Gray, Newport and Capitol Broadcasting stations; as well as previously announced Fox Television, Tribune, Lin, Local TV, and Cox stations.

Dish Nation is a daily program highlighting “the nation’s funniest radio shows; riffing on what’s hot and happening that day in pop culture.”

The show’s six-week summer preview on select FoxTelevision Stations featured radio teams including New York’s The Big Show with Scott & Todd on WPLJ (Scott Shannon and Todd Pettengill); Atlanta’s Rickey Smiley Morning Show, heard locally on Atlanta’s WHTA and syndicated in over 60 markets nationwide, is hosted by Rickey Smiley and features Ebony Steele, Gary T and HeadKrack; and Detroit’s Blaine & Allyson on WDVD hosted by Blaine Fowler and Allyson Martinek. In advance of the September premiere, additional radio teams from major markets will also be announced.
