Dispatch Names Delia GM In Indianapolis

Dispatch Broadcast Group today named Larry Delia president and general manager of its WTHR (NBC)-WALV-CD (Cozi TV) Indianapolis (DMA 26). Delia succeeds John Cardenas who was recently promoted to president-GM of Dispatch’s WBNS Columbus, Ohio, and VP of news for Dispatch Broadcast Group. Delia will assume his duties at WTHR-WALV on a date still to be determined

Delia joins WTHR-WALV from Tribune’s WXIN-WTTV Fox-CW duopoly in Indianapolis where he been VP-GM since 2011.

Prior to WXIN, Delia was VP-GM of WPMT Harrisburg, Pa. From 2002 to 2008 he was VP-GM of WGNO-WNOL New Orleans.

Delia has also served as VP-GM of WVNY Burlington, Vt., as well as general sales manager of WTIC Hartford, Conn. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
