He takes over leadership of the Northwest Broadcasting's Fox affiliates in Spokane and Yakima, Wash., joing from Sainte Partners in Modesto, Calif.

Doug Holroyd New GM Of KAYU, KFFX-KCYU
Doug Holroyd has joined Northwest Broadcasting as general manager of its Washington state Fox affiliates KAYU Spokane (DMA 73) and KFFX/KCYU-LD Yakima (DMA 123).
Holroyd comes to Northwest Broadcasting from Sainte Partners II L.P., for which he managed stations in Chico-Redding and Eureka, Calif., and Medford-Klamath, Ore.
While managing the Fox affiliates owned by Sainte Partners II L.P., Holroyd’s stations received Fox affiliate of the year, Fox fastest market share growth awards as well as being a part of the Fox No. 1 Club for the last 13 years.
“Once Doug surfaced as a candidate for our GM position for these stations, he very quickly rose to the top of the list of candidates,” said Jon Rand, Northwest Broadcasting VP-COO. “He has been running stations that are operated similarly to Northwest properties.”
