E/I Show ‘BETA Records TV’ Teams With Magazine

BETA Records TV, a nationally syndicated first-run music-centric TV series for kids, and In Tune Monthly, a magazine written exclusively for young music making students and their teachers, are collaborating on programming content for the television series; it was announced by Showplace Television Syndication President Hal Pontious, distributor of the program.

Beginning in April, each weekly episode of BETA Records TV will feature “In Tune Music News,” a news segment based on the most current content featured in the pages of In Tune Monthly.

“We are thrilled with this new collaborative venture and excited about the opportunity to deliver even more topical content to our viewers from the pages of one of the industry’s most respected publications,” said Pontious.

BETA Records TV is an educational and instructional series targeted to kids 13 to 16 years old. The series follows a magazine format with segments ranging from major and indie artist interviews, tutorials and how-to’s, producer and music executive tips, Internet heroes, legendary artists and music as it pertains to fashion and pop culture.

In Tune Monthly is “the young musician’s textbook” published in the form or a magazine that blends coverage of popular musical artists and themes with the traditional music curriculum.
