Elex Michaelson Joins KTTV Los Angeles

Fox-owned KTTV Los Angeles (DMA 2) has hired Elex Michaelson. Effective Jan. 16, he will anchor the Fox 11 Morning News from 4:30 to 5 a.m. alongside Araksya Karapetyan and will report for various station newscasts.

Most recently, Michaelson was a reporter and fill in anchor for KABC Los Angeles. Prior to that, he was an anchor and reporter at XETV San Diego.

Previously, he held internship positions at NBC News in Washington, KNBC Los Angeles and KTTV Los Angeles.

A graduate of the University of Southern California, Michaelson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism and political science.
