Emmanuel Acho Named Contributor At KTBC

Beginning today, Fox-owned KTBC Austin, Texas (DMA 39) has added Emmanuel Acho as a contributor to Good Day Austin. Every Monday through the end of football season, he will offer insight on college and professional football, including the issues facing athletes, as well as comment on pop culture and news of the day.

Acho is a free agent linebacker for the National Football League. Drafted by the Cleveland Browns, he spent the last three seasons as a Philadelphia Eagle. During his career at the University of Texas, Acho won the 2010 Arthur Ashe Award and was a three-time first team Academic All-Big12 selection.

He is co-host of ESPN’s Texas Game Day and a regular contributor for ESPN’s Longhorn Network. Acho has served as a special correspondent for Fox Business Network on the business of sports and as a football analyst. He also serves on the advisory board for SXSW Sports in Austin.

A graduate of the University of Texas, he holds a master’s degree in sports psychology and an undergraduate degree in sports management.
