Entertainment Studios Hires Hsieh As Finance SVP

Entertainment Studios today appointed Peggy Hsieh senior vice president of finance. Hsieh is based at the ES headquarters in Los Angeles. 

In her new position, Hsieh will oversee accounting and finance for the company’s recently acquired theatrical and digital movie distribution divisions — Entertainment Studios Motion Pictures and Freestyle Digital Media. Hsieh reports directly to Eric Gould, ES’s new EVP of finance and chief investment officer, as well as ES founder, chairman and CEO, Byron Allen.

Hsieh joins ES after 11 years at Wasserman Media Group, where she was SVP of accounting. Hsieh started her career as an auditor for Ernst & Young. She then was a portfolio accountant at Bel Air Investment Advisors before moving on to Platinum Equity.

Hsieh is a certified public accountant and holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of Southern California.
