Erick Weber Joins WOFL As Morning Anchor
Fox-owned WOFL Orlando, Fla. (DMA 19) has hired Erick Weber to anchor Good Day Orlando from 7 to 10 a.m. alongside Amy Kaufeldt, effective June 29.
Most recently, Weber served as morning anchor for Good Day Charlotte at Fox O&O WJZY. Prior to that, he was the morning news anchor for NECN/NBC in Boston.
Previously, Weber was morning news anchor in Orlando for WKMG’s Local 6 Morning News and Local 6 News at Noon.
Weber began his career in news as a sports anchor and reporter for WTMJ Milwaukee, and before that, KNDU-KNDO Kennewick, Wash.
A graduate of Ohio State University, Weber holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and journalism.
