ES Hires Amy Gruberg As Partnerships SVP

Entertainment Studios has appointed Amy Gruberg as senior vice president of media partnerships. Gruberg is based at the ES headquarters in Los Angeles.

In her new position, Gruberg will implement media planning, media buying, and overall marketing strategies across all of Entertainment Studios’ global media platforms: the theatrical and digital movie distribution divisions (Entertainment Studios Motion Pictures and Freestyle Digital Media), the company’s broadcast television syndication division, the ES cable television network division (Entertainment Studios Networks), and digital media platform The Grio. Gruberg reports directly to ES Founder, Chairman and CEO Byron Allen.

Upcoming Entertainment Studios Motion Pictures feature film projects Gruberg is working on include the Christian Bale Western Hostiles, the Rob Cohen directed action-thriller The Hurricane Heist, the mystery-thriller Chappaquiddick, and the Keanu Reeves sci-fi action-thriller Replicas

Gruberg has held entertainment marketing and media positions with several companies over the past 25 years, including Walt Disney Pictures, Dreamworks SKG, MGM, the Motion Picture and Television Fund and 20th Century Fox Films, Rolling Stone magazine and The Weinstein Co.

Gruberg holds a B.S. in film/TV/communications from Ithaca College, and an M.B.A. from California State University, Long Beach.
