ES Launches Global Subscription TV Platform

Entertainment Studios Inc. has launched a global television subscription service platform, SmartTV.com, that will let subscribers watch live television networks and video-on-demand (VOD) on most devices everywhere in the world starting as low as $1.99 per month. 

Subscribers can select the live networks they want to watch on popular devices such TV sets, PCs, Mac computers, iPhones, iPads, iPod Touch, all Android phones and tablets, Boxee and Roku set-top boxes.  SmartTV.com also provides subscriber access to thousands of hours of VOD programming that consumers may watch worldwide.

SmartTV.com plans to offer at least one linear channel in every major programming category within the next twelve months, and has premiered the service with six Entertainment Studios’ live, linear HD networks — Cars.TV, Comedy.TV, ES.TV, MyDestination.TV, Pets.TV, and Recipe.TV.
