Estrella TV Adds Ft. Myers-Naples To Affiliate Roster

Hispanic broadcast network Estrella TV increased its affiliation lineup with the addition of WGPS-LP Fort Myers-Naples, Fla. (DMA 62). The network will make its premiere this month.

“Estrella TV is an exciting brand for our station and an extraordinary entertainment destination for our market,” said Jeannette Showalter, WGSP CEO. “We look forward to bringing the diverse slate of Estrella TV’s comedy, drama, game show, reality, music/variety, sports and news programming to Naples-Fort Myers. The Hispanic population is growing rapidly in Florida and more so in Southwest Florida and represents an increasing portion of local consumer spending and new business creation.”

WGPS is becomes the 44th affiliate for Estrella TV, which this fall will debut all-new primetime series, a new awards special and a daily morning show.
