Estrella TV Has Strong November Sweeps

Estrella TV emerged from the November 2012 sweeps period with audience increases across core advertiser demos.

Estrella TV said it emerged from the fall ratings season as one of only two Hispanic broadcast networks to experience an increase over both the May 2012 and November 2011 sweep periods for the early fringe and primetime hours of Monday-Friday, 3-10 p.m. among persons 2+, persons 18-49 and women 18-49, averaging an increase of 1% vs. November 2011 and 16% vs. May 2012.

“Estrella TV’s primetime lineup continued to prove itself to be a formidable contender against legacy and upstart networks.” said Winter Horton, COO of parent Liberman Broadcasting. “The great November 2012 results further validate Estrella TV’s unique programming strategy and are a reflection of the success of our returning hits, Mi Sueño es Bailar and Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento along with our brand new programs, Que Jalada and En La Mira con Enrique Gratas.

Estrella primetime lineup includes celebrity-driven competition shows, reality series, musical variety and comedy shows and news programs.
