FETV Adds Comcast In Chicago, Ups Subs To 49M

The cable and satellite network Family Entertainment Television (FETV) is now available in the Windy City. With the addition of Comcast in Chicago, FETV raises its subscriber count to more than 49 million.

FETV has added more than 30 million new cable and satellite homes in the last seven months, making it “one of the fastest growing cable networks in the country,” according to FETV

The network is now on Dish Network and DirectTV and is available in U-verse, FiOS Frontier and select Comcast markets.

FETV airs classic TV programing including Matlock, Maude and I Dream of Genie. Perry Mason currently headlines the network, garnering a 0.1 national rating with more than 150,000 households at 8 and 9 p.m. on weeknights.

FETV CEO Drew Sumrall said: “We’re taking all this in stride with further plans to increase distribution and grow our audience every quarter.” Sumrall added: “When we see comScore results like we have with Perry Mason and Matlock, that’s when we know we are doing it right.”
