First Look: Promo For Twentieth’s ‘Kris’

Kris, a new daily, one-hour entertainment talk show hosted by television personality, entrepreneur, author, and mother of six, Kris Jenner, begins a six-week preview on July 15, on Fox O&Os in markets that include New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Minneapolis and Phoenix. The program, produced by Twentieth Television, will feature celebrity guests, fashion and beauty trends plus a mix of lifestyle topics.

It’s appropriate they pick Fox O&Os to preview this drivel. Both Kris and Bethenny will be one-season wonders. No substance at all.

The problem is that everyone and their sister thinks they can host a talk show. Rikki Lake and Jeff Probst had their shows cancelled in their rookie season (In Orlando, “The Jeff Probst Show” ends this Friday). Anderson Cooper only lasted 2 years. The test run for Kris will not happen in this market. Last year, the test run for Bethenny did not happen in this market. Both shows will be complete failures.
