First Week Of Feb. Strong For Syndie Mags

The first full week of the February sweep was a strong one for the syndicated magazines as reports on the blacked-out Super Bowl and new developments in the Kim Kardashian divorce made up for shows being preempted due to coverage of the Feb. 8 blizzard in the Northeast.

The top magazine in the week ending Feb. 10 was Entertainment Tonight, with a 4.0, its highest rating in 10 weeks. Inside Edition posted a new season high with a 3% gain to a 3.4.

Judge Judy was the only show in daytime to score a new season high, hitting a 7.5, while Dr. Phil ruled the talk shows for the 18^th week this season with a 3.3, matching its previous season high and leading the genre in the key women 25-54 demo.

Among shows not yet nationally rated, the most recent metered market averages show Access Hollywood Live clocking a steady 1.1 rating/4 share.

Meanwhile, the new Let’s Ask America (WBDTD) earned a 1.8/4, down 5% from the previous week.
