Fox Names Mark Rodman GM OF KSAZ

The GM of Fox’s KTBC Austin, Tex., is tapped to lead its Phoenix O&O, succeeding Pat Nevin.

Mark Rodman on Wednesday was named vice president and general manager of Fox O&O KSAZ Phoenix (DMA 13). He will report to Jack Abernethy, CEO of Fox Television Stations and assumes the position immediately. Rodman succeeds Pat Nevin who left the station in August to become GM of KFMB San Diego.

Most recently, Rodman was VP-GM of KTBC, the FOX O&O in Austin, Texas, a position he held for three years. Before that, he was general sales manager at KTBC. Earlier in his career, Rodman served for five years as local and national sales managers at KTVX Salt Lake City, Utah.

Prior to that, he held account executive positions at Telerep in New York and at WLNE Providence, R.I., and was a reporter at WFTV Orlando, Fla., for two years. He began his career as a reporter/producer at WPTA Fort Wayne, Ind.

Rodman holds a Bachelor of Arts in semiotics from Brown University and a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University.
