Fox News to launch SiriusXM channel

Fox News has partnered with satellite radio provider SiriusXM to launch a new national headline news service and full-time satellite radio channel, the two organizations announced Wednesday.

Fox News Headlines 24/7, which will launch this fall on SiriusXM station 115, will be produced by Fox News and will feature journalists and contributors from Fox News and Fox Business, as well as those channels' related websites.

“By creating this new news offering, we’re aiming to provide Fox News viewers and satellite radio subscribers the opportunity to stay informed with the latest headlines and breaking news from the network they have come to rely on and trust," Fox News chief Roger Ailes said in a statement.

Scott Greenstein, the president of SiriusXM, said Fox News had "the credibility and expertise to develop a channel unlike anything else in radio. It will deliver timely, valuable information that allows our listeners to immediately get caught up on the latest news, no matter where they are."
