Fox Sports Names Terri Hines Communications EVP

Fox Sports today appointed Terri Hines executive vice president of communications.

Hines will lead communications across Fox Sports’ multi-platform portfolio, which includes the sports television arm of Fox Broadcasting Co., FS1, FS2, its 22 regional sports networks, Fox Sports Digital, Fox Deportes, and its joint ventures. She will begin her new role on Dec. 5.

Hines is joining Fox Sports from Nike Inc., where most recently she was VP, global communications for Converse. In that role, she led Converse’s global communications strategy and corporate responsibility across key markets including North America, EMEA, Asia Pacific and Latin America.

Previously, Hines was director of communications for Nike’s Jordan Brand leading brand and athlete communications, entertainment, corporate responsibility and events. 

Hines has an M.A. in communications from American University and a B.S. in business administration from Florida A&M University.
