Fox Stations Renew ‘TMZ’ And ‘TMZ Live’

The entertainment magazines syndicated by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution will continue until the 2019-20 season.

The Fox Television Stations have renewed TMZ and TMZ Live through the 2019-20 season, ensuring that the two weekday strips will be sticking around for at least three more seasons.

The renewal announcement was made jointly today by Ken Werner, president, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution — syndicator of both shows — and Franck Cicha, SVP programming, Fox Television Stations.

“Watching the folks at TMZ create a new paradigm for strip television has been incredibly exhilarating, so we’re looking forward to these next three years,” Cicha said in a prepared statement. “Besides, [TMZ creator] Harvey [Levin] said if we didn’t renew, he’d dig up dirt on us,” Cicha said of the show, which specializes in celebrity news and gossip.
