Fran McRae-Posey Named GM Of KLFY
Nexstar Media Group today appointed Fran McRae-Posey vice president and general manager of its CBS affiliate KLFY Lafayette, La. (DMA 120). She assumes her new responsibilities immediately and will report to Mike Vaughn, Nexstar SVP-regional manager.
A Louisiana native McRae-Posey has more than 25 years of broadcasting experience in local and national sales management, local programming and content, new business development and strategic planning across multiple media platforms, the majority of it in Louisiana markets.
She most recently was general sales manager at KSLA Shreveport, La.
Prior to that, she was general sales manager for KTAL Shreveport. Before joining KTAL, she was general sales manager at KTVQ Billings, Mont., and at WXLV-WMYV Greensboro, N.C.
Earlier in her career, McRae-Posey held various sales management positions at WVLA, WGMB, KZUP-CD and WBRL in Baton Rouge, La.
