‘Frasier’ Returns To TV Thanks To Cozi

Classic TV diginet Cozi TV today announced Dr. Frasier Crane’s return to America’s airwaves this fall, with Frasier debuting on the multicast network on Monday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m. ET.

Starring Kelsey Grammer and the winner of 37 primetime Emmy Awards, Frasier has been ranked by TV Guide among the top 50 television shows of all-time. Frasier originally aired on NBC starting in 1993, with the series concluding in 2004.

“We are thrilled that Frasier will return to America’s living rooms this fall, broadcast through COZI TV,” said Meredith McGinn, SVP of Cozi TV and LX.TV Productions. “Every week for more than a decade, millions of television fans faithfully tuned in to watch Dr. Frasier Crane as he transitions from Boston to Seattle and embarks on a new career. We are elated Cozi TV will serve as the new home for Frasier — and look forward to officially welcoming his loyal, devoted fans, starting this September.”

Originally launched as an extension of NBC’s CheersFrasier quickly emerged as one of the most successful spin-off series in television history. Joined by a memorable cast including John Mahoney, Jane Leeves, David Hyde Pierce and Peri Gilpin, fans enjoyed the latest storylines involving the newly-divorced Dr. Crane (Grammer) as he returned to Seattle and embarked on a new career as a radio talk show host.

Frasier joins Little House on the Prairie and Quincy, Medical Examiner as new additions to Cozi TV’s fall line-up. Originally announced earlier this year, Little House on the Prairie will debut on Cozi TV on Monday, Sept. 19, airing from 10 a.m. to noon and again at 5 p.m. ET.

Quincy, Medical Examiner will also debut the same day, airing at 2 p.m. ET.
