I’m still not sure why the FCC chairman bothers. He’s made his feelings about the broadcast industry abundantly clear on other occasions (parroting his former boss, Reed Hundt) and his resume is clearly in companies using web-based technologies–all dependent on wireless broadband. If his speech is an attempt to sell auctions and band repacking he’s wasting his breath. Better that he give his keynote speech at the next CEA convention where he’ll feel the love. He certainly won’t get any at the NAB show.
