Giambrone To Head Shine America Production

Veteran TV production executive Linda Giambrone today was named executive vice president and head of production for Shine America.

Giambrone, who most recently was SVP-head of production at Shine America, will continue to oversee all unscripted production for the studio including MasterChef, The Biggest Loser, The Face and the upcoming MasterChef Junior on Fox.

An Emmy-nominated television producer and production executive, Giambrone’s credits include production and development oversight of variety, talk, news, game, live events and reality series.

Giambrone, who has been with Shine America since June 2011, works out of Shine’s Los Angeles office and oversees the company’s unscripted current, post-production and music divisions.

Prior to joining Shine America, Giambrone was SVP of BBC Worldwide Productions, where she was responsible for international sales and distribution, BBC Worldwide’s global production offices, as well as the launch of the company’s U.S. scripted business.

Giambrone started her career in New York with ABC News and worked as a freelance producer on a variety of primetime newsmagazines. She later moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment production, where she worked on a number of primetime specials and top syndicated TV series.
