Glenn Berk Named GSM Of WFLD-WPWR

The former general sales manager of WHBQ Memphis is tapped by Fox to head sales at its Chicago Fox-MNT duopoly.

Glenn Berk has been named vice president and general sales manager of Fox-owned WFLD (Fox) and WPWR (MNT) in Chicago (DMA 3). Beginning Monday, July 7.

Berk will be responsible for overseeing all station sales initiatives and will report directly to Dennis Welsh, VP-GM. He replaces Rita Marcocci who is now VP general sales manager at Fox’s WNYW-WWOR New York.

Previously, Berk spent nearly three years as VP-GSM of WHBQ Memphis. Before that, he spent four years at WTXF Philadelphia as national sales manager.

Prior to this, Berk was an account executive at Fox Stations Sales in New York.  Earlier in his career, he was a program analyst at HRP in New York.

A graduate of the University of Missouri, Berk holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science.
