Graham Holdings, formerly The Washington Post Co., on Wednesday announced the sale of its downtown Washington, D.C., headquarters to Carr Properties for $159 million.

Graham Holdings (formerly the Washington Post Co.) announced Wednesday that Carr Properties will purchase the company’s headquarters building in downtown Washington, D.C., as well as the land at 1100 15th Street, NW.
The sale price is approximately $159 million.
The company said the sale is contingent upon the successful completion of a due diligence period and is expected to take place at the end of March 2014.
