Gray Closes on KTVH, KBGF-LP Buy
Gray Television has closed on its almost $2 million purchase of KTVH, the NBC affiliate in Helena, Mont. (DMA 205), and KBGF-LP, the NBC affiliate in Great Falls, Mont. (DMA 190), announced in May.
When the sale by Intermountain West Communications Co. was announced, the proposed deal also included another station, KMTF, the CW affiliate in Helena, Mont., (operated by Intermountain West, but owned by Rocky Mountain Broadcasting Co.), subject to receipt of a “failing station waiver” from the FCC.
The parties are still awaiting approval of that waiver from the commission.
