Gray Soapes Joins WMBF As GSM
Raycom Media-owned NBC affiliate WMBF Myrtle Beach, S.C. (DMA 102) has hired Gray Soapes as general sales manager effective Dec. 16.
He will manage the revenue departments for WMBF, its multicast channels Bounce TV and This TV and wmbfnews.com digital platform.
Soapes is currently GSM at WCWJ, the CW affiliate in Jacksonville, Fla. Prior to WCWJ, he worked in Tampa, Fla., at WTLV and WFTS and started his TV career at WCSC in Charleston, S.C.
Soapes earned his college degree from Francis Marion University in Florence, S.C.
