Hallmark Names Lorusso Ad Sales Marketing Dir.

Toni Lorusso has been named director, ad sales marketing for Hallmark Channels (Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel), which is owned and operated by Crown Media Holdings, Inc. Based out of the New York office, Lorusso will report to Susanne McAvoy, executive vice president, marketing.

Lorusso will be responsible for maximizing advertising sales revenue potential by creating and implementing strategic marketing and promotional activities.  She will work closely with the consumer marketing, creative services and online media departments to develop integrated and customized sponsorship packages. Lorusso will also partner with ad sales management to create the annual upfront presentation and oversee client events.

Prior to joining Hallmark Channels, Lorusso was the integrated marketing and partnerships manager for Discovery Communications. Previously, as the integrated sales marketing manager for NBC Universal, she led and managed the enterprise marketing efforts for Green Is Universal, across all NBCU assets. Lorusso was also the ad sales marketing manager for Fine Living Network. 

Lorusso earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree from the Universtiy of Florida as well as a master’s degree from New York University’s direct and interactive marketing program.
