Hearst’s Orlando Properties To Aid Tornado Relief

Hearst Television WESH (NBC) and WKCF (CW) Orlando, Fla. (DMA 19), are focusing attention on relief efforts for the victims of Monday’s Oklahoma tornado.

The stations and their subchannels are airing hourly messages and WESH 2 News is devoting special time to the cause, supplying viewers with this donation information from the American Red Cross:

  • Donate by phone: (800) RED-CROSS
  • Donate online: www.RedCross.org
  • Donate $10 by text: REDCROSS to 90999

In addition, viewers can visit WESH.com and the WESH 2 app to donate. “Living in Central Florida, we’re no stranger to severe weather,” says said Jim Carter, president-GM. “Rebuilding and returning to normal takes time and money. Donating to the American Red Cross is a simple way for us to show our support.”

Hopefully the other TV and Radio Stations in Central Florida will join with Hearst Television (WESH/WKCF) as well as Northland, A Church Distributed in the effort to help the citizens of Moore, Oklahoma.
