Heartland Adds KCHF Albuquerque As Affiliate

Luken Communications diginet The Heartland Network has signed an affiliation agreement with KCHF Albuquerque-Santa Fe, N.M. (DMA 47).

KCHF, owned and operated by Son Broadcasting, Inc., launched Heartland on July 1 over the air on ch. 11.3. Heartland will also be available to over-the-air viewers in Albuquerque on sister station KNMQ’s 43.1.

Son Broadcasting President-GM Annette Garcia said: “When my dad first got into broadcasting he owned a country station in Santa Fe, N.M.  As a second-generation broadcaster it brings me great joy to know that Heartland will bring back some of those good old memories through classic country music.” Garcia added, “Heartland brings together all generations of country music lovers with its great variety of true country music, including bluegrass and much more.”
