Heartland Adds WBQC Cincinnati

Luken Communications Heartland diginet has added a new affiliate: WBQC-LD Cincinnati (DMA 36). Heartland airs over-the-air on ch. 25.5 and on Cincinnati Bell Fioptics ch. 293.

WBQC, owned and operated by Block Broadcasting Co., is also an affiliate of Luken’s Retro TV.

Elliott Block, CEO-GM of Block Broadcasting, said: “The long-awaited addition of The Heartland Network for the people of Cincinnati is finally here.” Block added, “Viewers around the country love Heartland’s unique blend of classic and country music and lifestyle programming, and now WBQC is proud to be the latest member of the Heartland family.”

Heartland launched in 2013 with programming composed of syndicated and first-run shows along with digitally restored country music content from the vaults of Music Row.

WBCQ needs to get the sound quality better for the channel position.
