Hoak Names Wareham GM Of Fargo Duopoly

The former GM of KIDK Idaho Falls-Pocatello takes over KVLY (NBC) and KXJB (CBS).

Hoak Media Corp. has appointed Jim Wareham president and general manager of its Fargo, N.D. (DMA 121) stations KVLY (NBC) and KXJB (CBS), which it manages for Parker Broadcasting, effective Wednesday. He will report to Rich Adams, COO of Hoak Media.

Wareham has spent the previous four years managing the Fisher Communications-owned KIDK Idaho Falls-Pocatello, Idaho.

Wareham has served in numerous sales and general management positions at stations in markets including Lansing, Mich.; Erie, Pa.; and Columbus, Ga.

“Jim’s impressive body of successful leadership roles at television stations of note was particularly evident to us as we sought the right leader for our Fargo operations,” said Rich Adams COO of Hoak Media.
