Hoodlum Teams Up With 3 Arts Entertainment

Emmy- and BAFTA Award-winning entertainment company Hoodlum has signed with management and production company 3 Arts Entertainment to develop original television and multiplatform content for the global marketplace. With the agreement, 3 Arts Entertainment will seek new multiplatform opportunities for Hoodlum with initial focus on U.S. networks and cable companies.

Based in Brisbane Australia, Hoodlum’s credits include high profile multiplatform campaigns for ABC’s Lost and Flash Forward, as well as a recent immersive experience for Sony Pictures Entertainment’s hit film Salt.

Hoodlum has just wrapped production on an original television drama series called Slide for Foxtel with co-producers Playmaker Media in Australia. The series is devised as a multiplatform online/television drama featuring social media and an online experience that the company hopes will revolutionize how television programs connect and communicate with the audience. Slide is set to air on FOX8 in Australia later this year and will be distributed in the U.S. by Fremantle Media.
