Hubbard Adding WNYA To Albany Portfolio
Hubbard Broadcasting, the owner of NBC affiliate WNYT Albany, N.Y. (DMA 58), is doubling up in the market, buying MNT affiliate WNYA from Venture Technologies Group. The purchase price was not disclosed.
WNYT General Manager Steve Baboulis: said, “We are pleased to be adding WNYA’s programming to the services we currently provide in New Yorks tate’s capital region. We will work hard to enhance the good work WNYA has done in our market, and we look forward to this exciting opportunity.”
This agreement is subject to prior approval by the FCC. Commission action on the sale is anticipated later this year.

They were outmaneuverd by Young for the Fox Affiliate..I guess this makes them feel whole???
