Investigative Reporter Mike Mason Joins WGCL
Meredith Corp.’s CBS affiliate WGCL Atlanta (DMA 9) has added Mike Mason as an investigative reporter.
Mason comes to WGCL from WLOS Asheville, N.C., where he was an investigative reporter. He has also held investigative reporter positions in Fort Myers and Tampa, Fla.
During Mason’s career he has received numerous accolades, including: Columbia University’s Alfred I. DuPont Award, Regional and National Edward R. Murrow Awards, Radio Television News Directors Association Awards, Society of Professional Journalist Awards, Associated Press Awards and regional Emmys.
Mason is a graduate of Saint Thomas University in Miami.

Mike Mason is an excellent investigative reporter who has helped change laws, arrest offenders and expose corruption. He helped me finally get justice after 20 years of red tape when he was at WFTS in Tampa. Atlanta has a new hero! Way to go Mike.
