Irene Mahoney-Paige Named ND At WLNE

Irene Mahoney-Paige is joining Citadel Broadcasting’s ABC affiliate WLNE Providence, R.I. (DMA 53), as news director starting July 15. For the past three years she has been executive producer at WTIC Hartford, Conn., where she was part of the team that led the station’s transition from analog to HD.

A graduate of Emerson College and Edward R Murrow Award Winner, her experience includes: teaching news producing at Emerson College; news writer at WHDH Boston; news producer at KCOY in Santa Maria, Calif.; executive producer at XETV San Diego; executive producer at KCBS-KCAL Los Angeles; news director at KOIN Portland, Ore.; and executive producer at WVIT Hartford, Conn.
