iStreamPlanet Announces Partnership With Ooyala

Multiplatform video-workflow solutions provider iStreamPlanet announced a partnership with Ooyala to provide multiscreen, live linear streaming services for content owners, aggregators and distributors.

As part of the partnership, iStreamPlanet’s live streaming workflow services will be integrated with Ooyala’s platform for video streaming, analytics and monetization to provide an end-to-end live streaming video solution.

Chris Carper, VP of business development at iStreamPlanet, said Ooyala’s reputation in providing video-on-demand services, made them an easy choice to partner with. “Our combined solutions enable broadcasters of all sizes, including current joint customers like Pac-12, to take advantage of the growing demand for live, streaming video on connected devices.”

Las Vegas-based iStreamPlanet currently provides services for NBC, Turner Broadcasting, Notre Dame Athletics and AMC Networks.
