Janene Drafs New KOMO-KUNS Station Mgr.

Fisher Broadcasting today promoted General Sales Manager Janene Drafs to the newly created position of VP-station manager of its KOMO (ABC)-KUNS (Univision) duopoly in Seattle (DMA 12), effective immediately.

Drafs will continue to be responsible for all sales activity for the stations as well as working closely with Fisher Seattle Broadcasting SVP-GM Jim Clayton in the managerial functions of all other departments in the duopoly.

Drafs is a 25-year employee of Fisher Communications who began her career as a sales assistant. She has also been an account executive, regional marketing executive for business development, local sales manager and, most recently, VP-general sales manager.

She is a graduate of the University of Washington.
