Jenni Ryall Is Tegna’s New Digital Content VP

Tegna has appointed Jenni Ryall vice president of digital content. She comes to Tegna from Mashable where she was VP of content strategy. She will report to Adam Ostrow, Tegna’s chief digital officer.

In her new role, Ryall will work across departments. She will be a member of Tegna’s Central Content Team and “help create innovative and original content and partnerships across platforms,” the company said.

“Jenni brings a wealth of experience in both managing day to day editorial operations and driving growth through strategic initiatives. We are thrilled to have her as part of the Tegna team as we execute on our mission of transforming local journalism for the digital age,” said Adam Ostrow, Tegna’s chief digital officer.

At Mashable, Ryall also served in several roles including director of editorial programming, real time senior editor and founding editor of Mashable Australia.

Prior to joining Mashable, Ryall was a writer, multimedia editor and morning editor for Australia’s leading digital publication, news.com.au, where she directed a 40-person newsroom.
