Jennifer Zeppelin Joins KMTV Weather Team

Scripps-owned CBS affiliate KMTV Omaha, Neb. (DMA 74), has hired meteorologist Jennifer Zeppelin as both meteorologist and co-anchor of Action 3 News Upfront at 4 effective Monday, Jan. 11.

Zeppelin will co-anchor and present the weather with Jennifer Griswold, Monday through Friday. The addition of Zeppelin to the Weather Alert Team brings the number of meteorologists at the station to five.

Zeppelin comes to KMTV from KTUL Tulsa, Okla., where she was chief meteorologist for the last three years. She also worked at KCNC Denver, KABB San Antonio and KTBS Shreveport, La.  Zeppelin got her start in Mississippi at stations inJackson and Hattiesburg.

She is a graduate of Mississippi State University.
