Jim Rosenfield Joins WRC As Weekend Anchor
Veteran journalist Jim Rosenfield is joining NBC-owned WRC Washington (DMA 8) as weekend anchor. He joins the station on June 4 from New York, where he has anchored newscasts on both WNBC and WCBS.
This marks a return to NBC for Rosenfield, who moved to New York in 1998 where he spent 10 years reporting and anchoring newscasts during some of the biggest stories in history.
An alumnus of Duke University, Rosenfield’s journalism career spans more than 30 years. He got his start working at stations in North Carolina and Houston before becoming a reporter and anchor at WLS Chicago.
