Jimenez Named Finance VP Of WNBC-WNJU

Carlos Jimenez has been promoted to vice president of finance for NBC Owned Television Stations’ WNBC (NBC) and WNJU (Telemundo) New York. In his new role, Jimenez will oversee the financial strategy and budget for both stations.

A finance professional with experience at four different entertainment companies, Jimenez was previously the VP of finance for digital and content distribution for NBCUniversal’s Owned Television Stations division.

Prior to joining NBCUniversal, Jimenez was the VP of finance and business operations for Beliefnet.com, a division of News Corp.  Jimenez also held a variety of positions at Reader’s Digest Association, including director of finance with RDA Interactive.

In addition, Jimenez was with Time Warner for eight years, in divisions that ranged from Direct Brands to Home Entertainment to Consumer Marketing.  Jimenez began his career at Boston University’s Office of Development & Alumni Relations.

Jimenez received his BS in business administration and management from Boston University and his MBA from New York University, graduating cum laude from both.
