Joe Oulvey Named 20th TV EVP, Ad Sales

The former SVP of sales at Fox Stations Sales will oversee sales at the syndicator, including those for Debmar-Mercury and Carsey-Warner.

Joe Oulvey today was appointed executive vice president, sales of Twentieth Television, effective Sept. 12. In this role, Oulvey will be responsible for overseeing all sales initiatives on behalf of Twentieth Television including sales for Debmar-Mercury and Carsey-Warner.  Based in New York, he will report to Greg Meidel, president of Twentieth Television.

Most recently, Oulvey was senior vice president, Fox Stations Sales, directing all aspects of the national sales efforts on behalf of the Fox Television Station group comprising 27 Fox and MyNetworkTV stations, covering 37.34% of U.S. television homes.

Prior to a decade of holding various Fox Station positions, including VP of sales, Oulvey was VP of spot sales for CBS Television Stations. Between 1993 and 2000, additional positions with the CBS Television Stations included sales manager and account executive.

Following his graduation at Western Illinois University with a Bachelor’s of Art degree, Oulvey held local market account executive positions at Katz Continental Television (Chicago), KTVI St. Louis and WHOI Peoria, Ill.
