John Hayes New GM Of WXLV-WMYV

Sinclair Broadcast Group today named John Hayes general manager of its duopoly of WXLV (ABC) and WMYV (MNT) Greensboro/Winston-Salem/High Point, N.C. (DMA 47). Hayes replaces Ron Inman who left the stations in March.

Hayes most recently and from 2001 was VP-GM of Fox affiliate WTNZ Knoxville, Tenn., and prior to that was the general sales manager. From 1996 to 1999, he was the general sales manager of KLBK Lubbock, Texas. From 1990, he served in various sales management and account executive roles at WSPA Spartanburg, S.C.

Hayes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration/marketing from San Diego State University.
