Jonathan Martin Joins KRIV As Evening Anchor

Jonathan Martin joins Fox O&O KRIV Houston (DMA 10) as evening anchor. Beginning May 9, Martin will co-anchor the weekday 5 and 9 p.m. newscasts alongside Melinda Spaulding.

Most recently, Martin was a national correspondent for Al Jazeera America. Previously, he was a weekend anchor and general assignment reporter for WSMV Nashville.

Prior to that, Martin was a weekend evening anchor and daily reporter for WRDW Augusta, GA. Before that, he served as a news reader for WFXA-FM Augusta, Ga. Martin began his career as a field reporter intern for WSB Atlanta.

A graduate of Auburn University, Martin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism.
