Journalist Alberto Rullan Joins WNJU New York

Telemundo-owned WNJU New York (DMA 1) has named Alberto Rullán a fill-in anchor and reporter.

In this role, Rullán will support all of Telemundo 47’s local newscasts, which air Monday to Friday at 5 a.m., 6 a.m., 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. and on weekends at 5:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.

His first day with WNJU will be July 27.

Rullán joins WNJU from WAPA San Juan, P.R., where he worked from 2000 to 2015 as an anchor and reporter. He earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from the Universidad de Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras and a master’s degree in Investigative journalism from Florida International University.
