Journalist Alejandra Molina Joins WSCV Miami
Telemundo-owned WSCV Miami (DMA 16) today named Alejandra Molina co-anchor of Noticiero Telemundo 51 which airs at 5 and 6 a.m. on weekdays.
Her first day on-air will be July 13. She will join co-anchor David Rodriguez, meteorologist Denise Isaac and traffic reporter Jasmina Marazita.
Molina joins WSCV from WJAN-CD Miami. While she was still a college student she began working at WJAN as a reporter for their daily newscasts, and she remained at that station until recently, having been promoted to co-anchor of its 10 p.m. newscast in 2006 and adding co-anchoring responsibilities of the 6 p.m. newscast in 2012.
Throughout that time, she also reported, focusing on investigative series, and has extensive experience providing live, on-air continuous coverage of local, national and international events.
Molina received a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism from Florida International University.
