Journalist Jairo Lozano Joins KVDA San Antonio

Telemundo’s KVDA San Antonio, Texas (DMA 32), today named Jairo Lozano a video journalist for Noticias 60 Telemundo, which airs weekdays at 4:30, 5 and 10 p.m., effective immediately.

He will join news anchors Arlena Amaro and Alex Hernandez, weather anchor Lilian Perez and sports anchor Johnathan Solarte and KVDA’s team of reporters to cover the Hispanic community in San Antonio. He will make his on-air debut in mid-February.

Lozano joined Telemundo in 2013 when he was named assistant producer for KVDA’s sister station KXTX Dallas-Fort Worth. He has also worked as a reporter for Telemundo’s KTLM Harlingen, Texas, since 2014.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Texas at Arlington.
