Kabillion Adds Shows To ToonPower Kids Block

Splash Entertainment’s Kabillion, a free, on-demand kids TV network currently in more than 50 million TV homes, has signed a deal with Broadcast Partners to begin distribution today of the newest versions of two animated series — Casper’s Scare School (26 half-hours) and George of the Jungle (26 half-hours) — for its VOD platform. In addition, both programs will be part of a new ToonPower branded programming block on Kabillion. The announcement was made today by Nicolas Atlan, Kabillion president and Splash Entertainment co-CEO.

“With the launch of the ToonPower block, Kabillion serves as the perfect home for these two highly recognizable titles,” said Neal Ardman, president of Broadcast Partners. “The iconic brands have touched the lives of many generations and I’m confident that these series will continue to delight and entertain audiences both young and old.”

“It’s an honor for me to now have Casper’s Scare School on Kabillion as I was part of  the original team that produced the series a few years back,” said Atlan. “With these two titles, as well as our recent acquisition of Gumby, Kabillion is truly becoming a go-to platform for classic programming that can be shared by kids and their parents, many whom grew up watching these treasured titles.
