Kara Sewell Named WXIX Morning Co-Anchor
Raycom Media’s Fox affiliate WXIX Cincinnati (DMA 36) has selected Kara Sewell as the new co-anchor of Fox19 Now weekday mornings. Sewell will begin her on-air duties on Dec. 8.
Sewell joins WXIX from KWCH Wichita, Kan., where she anchored the four-and-a-half hour-long morning newscast and half-hour noon newscast.
Previously, she anchored and reported at KOSA Midland, Texas.
Sewell graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a degree in communication and media studies.
